Long weekend
Very fast tmr's sunday...long weekend passed in just a blink..didn't do anything much..fri (yesterday) morn spent lazing in bed till late morning, went beach road market + concourse skyline showflat unit (work addict - enjoy walking show flats), went shopping @ bugis village for his berms, dinner @ sakae sushi, billard+pool @ OCC (won 2 buffet dinners at Furama from DG haha).Today was equally monotonous..went for DG's car servicing @ AMK Ind Pk 2. Waited a few hrs there, played the psp which DG has sweetly, considerately downloaded games for me, expecting tt I'll be bored. Went Tampines 1 with NZ and hubby. Shopped awhile, bought 2 new tank tops from the new Jap label shop, had dinner @ FISH.1st complaint: "FISH" SUCKZ BIG TIME~~ pls..unless u r an even smaller eater than me, else dun even contemplate gg there for ur meals!!! Food's expensive, serving is slow and the portion is super freaking SMALL!!!! NOT WORTHWHILE AT ALL!! And to think we actually queued for it..haiz.. ended up had to fill our stomach w a 2nd round of Subway.Then comes the 2nd complaint of the night: Just when e guys were queuing for their subway, nic kena spilled by coke all over her shorts and bag by an oversized kid. Never apologized, just said "oh-oh". When nic demanded an apology from him, his equally oversized parents defended him..no wonder...spoilt kid with such parents..where's the grace to teach ur kids proper manners instead of defending them when they r so clearly in the wrong???? In the middle of the confrontation, an idiotic guy actually came over and scolded nic..asking her "can't u see tt he's only a kid? haven't u ever been a kid before?"Does being a kid give u priviledge to skip all manners? to do something wrong and not apologize for it? And y does he have to be such a BUSYBODY? is not even his bloody business..me and DG were standing nearby, watching all this unfold..nic might be alittle too furious with the incident, but she was right to demand for an apology (high time for the kid to get a little "scolding" anyway, which I can clearly see is lacking from his indulgent parents).To the guy who came over: PLEASE...MIND UR OWN BUSINESS..we as friends r not even intervening so y shld u?!?!!? plus..pls quit ur freaking smug face..makes people feel like slapping u..besides ur gf was clearly embarrassed by ur kaypoh-ness as well...p/s: shld have taken photo of the family and the busy-body..
