Taiwan: Day 2 - YongKang St, Taipei 101 & Xi Men Ding

Woke up early in the morning, thinking of starting the day early..haha end up the streets r empty on a friday morning and the shops r nt open til 10am.

taking in the cool, fresh morning air..temperature there is so cooling and comfortable, compared to SG..dg loves it there so much..

dim sum breakfast @ Kao Chi...cheap and good

took bus 22 from YongKang St to Taipei 101..ended up we took from the wrong direction and had to sit for the whole loop..

finally at our destination..bought tics at their 5th sty..

their lift is super fast..only bad thing is u had to queue till there r enuff pple to fill the lift..

the graphics on the flr comes on when u step on it..

had lunch @ their basement foodcourt..hotplate sotong and chicken..NICE~

waiting for shuttle bus to City Hall MTR Stn, so happened there was a "NATAS" fair at the venue opposite..so there were quite many pple..

went Wu Fen Pu for our shopping..

dg tried their zhu xue gao - pig's blood cake..see his expression..tt speaks volume on the taste..haha

Was quite disapppointed with Wu Fen Pu..but tt was cox Taiwan already chnging to autumn season and selling mostly long sleeves now..WFP being the wholesale area starts selling earlier than most other areas..

Went back to Xi Men Ding for our evening shopping..had dinner @ Modern Toilet Restaurant
