Happy New Year (in advance)!!!
Had a very nice long xmas due to the long weekend..tired but fulfilling..hmm lemme try recall wat I did..
Xmas Eve - nope we din go countdown..not our cup of tea anymore considering our age (nope not tt we r old..just abit overage to squeeze in the crowds anymore haha)..but we still had dinner in town..worked half day till 1.30pm, came home rest awhile, dg came fetched me at 4+, went orchard bought some last min xmas pressies..had dinner at Modestos..caught Sherlock Holmes @ Lido (I am nv gg back Lido for movies anymore!!! my god..their seats made me ache thru out the whole show!! couldnt sit comfortably, couldnt slouch comfortably..practically nothing makes me comfortable!! )..then went down 11+pm right before countdown to patrick's hse..they've alrdy happily settled and ready to exchange pressies..stayed till 1+ and went home..flopped in bed and fell instantly asleep..
Christmas!! -slept in late till afternoon then went to the rehab cte in yck to visit dg's frd who just came out from coma and was sent there for physio..chatted, cut cake, stayed for awhile till his frd was tired and need to rest. Then went to Vivo and met up w dg's other gang of frds..had dinner @ Marche (we queued abt an hr for it!!!)..went labrador park for an "evening" stroll in which dg started telling us abt the eerie stories there..*ahem* were we too old to believe in such stories anymore or just tt his stories were nt tt convincing?? haha..anyway good try my dear..
Again, reached home 1+am and instantly concussed..
Boxing Day - met up with the gals for a nice relaxing lunch at Bishan Park - Green Room..vegetarian cuisine after days of merry-making..too much of 大鱼大肉 so had to settle for 粗茶淡饭 haha..went home relaxed awhile and made our way to my 四姑's hse for my niece's 1st birthday celebration..
Today - hah finally a day to laze at home to recover from all those partying..did a little starvation..shared a plate of 糯米饭 - leftovers tt we packed from last night's party's catering..then went empty-stomach till dinner. Met up w my WATCH team (except for ww) for dinner @ Northpoint..Manhattan Fish Market..
And now I'm home..my own home..to 养精蓄锐to brace myself for next week's work..haiz..starting work tmr again..thou it will b a long weekend as well...hooray..tt's y I love December..
And I will have to spend more time w DG for the next 2 weeks..he's gg to New Zealand for 3 weeks for work!! *cryz* he probably thot I will be happier since he's not ard to "watch" over me..haha..hmm well...we shall see... *whisper* evon..mj?? hahaha
