Sick Cat = ME~
Not a good week as expected...developed a fever since last night...reached a peak of 39.1deg this afternoon..Went see doc in d morning..had a hard time struggling to and fro the 24hr clinic at Chong Pang..the one beside KFC. So angry with the doc. He took only less than 5 min consultation time with each patient but yet had to wait 10min in between each patient. Was alrdy super uncomfortable cox running high fever, had a heavy and dizzy head and feeling super cold in the clinic. Waited for more than an hr even thou I was the 4th in queue. Went in, the doc did not even bother to retake my temp (the nurse took it when I first came into the clinic, but the thermometer showed 36.9deg even thou I took my own temp at home and it was 38.3deg). Asked a few questions and just shoo-ed me out of the room. I didn't believe the temperature taken so I requested for the nurse to retake. Turned out the thermometer was spoilt and my temp was really 38.3deg. Took the med and left, super irritated tt the doc din bother to double check my temp when in the room. Felt like filing a complaint.Came home and rested. But temp kept rising. Finally reached 39.1 deg in the evening, and DG had to forsake his dinner at St Regis, to bring me to TTSH where they gave me immediate attention. Doc gave 3 days' MC, want me to eat med and rest and drink more fluids and glucose since I kept vommitting in d afternoon. And DG immed brought me to buy ribena and some food for tmr. I went empty stomach the whole day today cox parents not at home and I din had the strength to go down. He wanted to bring me home so that his mum can look after me but I din want to cox his hse has got the 2 little kids whom I dont wish to affect.I really hate falling sick. Turned out I might have to give up my company's bbq if I dun manage to recover in time. But also through this episode, I see for myself how important I mean to DG and to remind myself to treasure him more.
