Bt Indah - 影寿司 (Kage Sushi), J Hotel, Games Cafe
Original intention was to go M'sia JB just for some window shopping and seafood dinner...ended up we travelled to Jusco @ Bt Indah and had dinner at a nearby restaurant..
saw this outside a restaurant..for a wedding to be held there that night..made entirely of balloons..and DG even suggested I learn to make this so tt can sell!! #%$%#$ just cox I'm good at craftwork does nt mean ALL craftwork..
Jusco @ Bt Indah..hmm similar to the one nearer to JB..
smelled doughnuts from far..so naturally we went in search of it..The Big Apple~ tried it today...pretty goodTravelled back to 五福城 for dinner...japanese buffet dinner @ Kage...FANTASTIC choice manz~~ soooooo NICE!!!
Food Variety - GOOD!
Lots of food to choose from..from raw to grill to fried..yums yums..
Freshness - Anything fresher U'll have to prepare urself!! haha~~ super fresh for all the sashimi we tried..yums yums yums
Taste - when the food is fresh, it tastes nice no matter how u cook it..and it goes for this restaurant~ thumbs up.
Serving - Generous.
Service - Nothing to complain and everything to praise for. We reached there at 8.30pm and they were fully packed. So we said we would wait for a table. The waiter say he cant guarantee when he can give us a table and said if we waited and couldn't get a table, he feel "dui bu qi" us..kept apologizing..and all the while smiling..seeing his service really makes me ashamed of the services rendered in Singapore in comparison
Price - RM49 each person NETT~~
Final Verdict = CHEAP AND GOOD~~
After tt japanese dinner at Kage, i dun think I will ever eat jap in singapore again..I'd rather travel there and have my fill..same verdict given by all 4 of us~

Oh and we took photos only of the last round we had..haha were too hungry to care abt camwhoring..

kimchi ramen..hmm not fantastic but still a refreshing change from the jap variety..

last round of sashimi..last order at 9.30pm..and they've ran out of tako sashimi~ heng we've alrdy eaten our fill in the last few orders..
all sashimi served on ice..real ice.not ice pack ok~~and they are SUPER DUPER FRESH~

handrolls..their soft shell crab handroll damn nice~, grilled mushrooms, california maki and scallops..

DG enjoying his 2nd chawanmushi..his fav ah~ 1st = original chawanmushi, 2nd = enoki chawanmushi..but mine's the best - chawanmushi w crabmeat..yums yums
grilled chicken skewers..we did not order this but we still took photos of it..haha..best is the waitress even waited for us to finish taking photos and asked if we r done before taking it away..

Did some recee for our long weekend and decided to book this hotel under Jessie's recommendation..very impressed w their interior designs and affordable room rates..
comfortably settled in their sofa at the lounge..super comfy~
sourcing design for our future home..haha n we both like this concept of ceiling curtain..so chio~ and the colour theme is exactly the same as what DG wants..
their rooms all come w unique designs..will update photos and rating after we stayed in..after reserving our room, we chanced upon this games cafe tt we settled down in..surprising thing is I realised this is opened by a uni frd's family!!! saw her when she came to teach us to play Monopoly : the Here and Now edition. Such a small world~
we played till 3am ok~~ mai siao siao...and we still had the energy to drive all d way back sg...haha..
Am so looking fwd to our long weekend stay there..
