Recent shopping
After hibernating for 3 mths (had been a good wife/daughter-in-law/mother-to-be, and gg home everyday after work for home cooked dinner n ample rest), finally took a "break" and met up with cyk for some shopping. Desperately in need of some body moisturiser tt is safe for use and also deodorant (dunno if it's cox of the change in hormones, i stink! yes, i seriously think i stink! thou dg says i smell ok to him, but im not taking chances!). And after popping by Sephora, Crabtree (their newest avocado series smells great!!!), Watsons, Guardian, etc..I finally settled on Loccitane~ because they have this Mom n Child series...so friendly...thou I ended up buying their almond body lotion (which the sales girl says it's definitely safe for mummies as she had seen lots of preggies using and the ingredient list looks pretty decent to me..) Oh and I got my deodorant from there as well...and I got a Bio-Oil Gel for my stretch marks from Guardian (nope, no stretch marks yet..but prevention is always better than cure!) It's a rather small bottle so after this I'm hopping to Clarins..
And along the shopping trip...hee some rather good find...cyk recommended me this french pastry shop tt recently opened in takashimay...and we hopped over for a try cox I told her I fell in love with bread ever since I got preggy.. Bought myself a strawberry tart, mixed fruits tart, apple feuilette (dunno how to spell!) and a box of mini macarons (choux and coffee cream)..
yet to try these..will comment after trying them tonight for desserts/supper..
NOW NOW NOW!! this is the box of little wonders of surprise!!! I simply love these tiny creatures!!!! The usual macarons sold (be it from bakerzin, pan pacific, other big fanciful hotels/patisseries, etc) are either too sweet (for my liking) or too soft or both...BUT! this box of macarons from Paul - FANTASTIC! crispy on the outside, one bite into it, the fillings flood into your mouth yet not overflowing out of the crust onto your hands, and best of all, the sweetness is just nice! oooohh...soooo yummy....im salivating...only con is tt the flavours r quite limited...n it comes ready packed so u dun get to choose..a box of 12 for $19..a tad too expensive but as rewards...definitely worth it..
Side tracking abit...I need to dedicate alittle of this post to my dearest hubby *muackz* for buying me a rolex~ and altho he did state tt it's for all the occassions this yr (meaning no more pressies for me), but well...what beats a rolex? haha...
